The Battlefield

th

The Battlefield

The night shines on,

The trees wave on,

The stars shine and glimmer,

Yet the land rages.

People clash from both sides,

Unnecessarily blood flows,

The land shakes,

Thunder strikes.

Soldiers lunged,

Drums beat,

Generals screamed,

The battle grew.

Blood flew,

Carcasses lay,

Weapons lied,

The land raged.

Thus was the normal day on the battlefield.
